Airtech, a business unit of IDEX Health & Science Technology, celebrated its 40th anniversary with a fun-filled carnival at their corporate headquarters in Rutherford, NJ. All team members, including the local sales team, were invited to attend and wore matching commemorative jackets to honor the 40-year anniversary.
The team celebrated with a carnival that included popular carnival games: ring toss, high striker, bean toss and more challenging games, such as the mechanical bull ride, jousting, sumo-wrestling and soccer shootout. The participants were awarded with inflatable and stuffed animal prizes that brought out the inner children in them. Attendees also raffled off prizes, snapped pictures at the photo booth, and enjoyed delicious food from the Tep’s Truck Treats food truck.
From humble beginnings in 1982 with as a simple distribution company, Airtech now employs more than 115 people in their largest manufacturing facility in Rutherford, New Jersey, not to mention the extended team in California, Georgia, Maryland, Germany, Europe, Spain, and China. Airtech has now become a leading design and manufacturer of specialty gas moving solutions. The vacuum pumps and blowers are used in a vast array of cutting-edge technologies from power generation to laboratory, medical, food production and many other essential industries.
An anniversary like this one makes us pause and take a moment to reflect on what brought us here. Wins and losses, triumphs and struggles, long-time costumers and new opportunities, and all the adaptations and improvements the company has made. It is proof that we have successfully served our clients and team members well. Feeling nostalgic, the team stopped by and looked through old photos in our celebratory trip-down-memory-lane booth, recognizing many faces from Airtech’s beginning that are still with us today.
Over the past 40 years, we’ve learned that the people are the most important factor in any business.
